Hello there. This is Ame1 and I am here. will gladly talk any time. Have been a fan of AE since I was 16...am 63 now. She was a great lady and did wonderful things for women. What do you want to talk about. I knew her sister as you can read on this site and visited her house in mass. years ago. so let me know your interests of her.

I found this board after watching Amelia with Hilary Swank and trying to look up some information on Amelia and her husband, George Putnam.

I took a pilot ground school class last semester and I have been reading everything "Amelia" since. I'm glad she's got her own website. I'm sure she would have loved the internet as a tool to promote aviation.
